Mesenteric lymphadenitis is an infection in the lymph nodes.
Lymph nodes are collection of cells all over our body that help fight off infections.
We have 600 lymph nodes throughout our body.
Mesenteric Lymphadenitis is usually caused by an intestinal infection,
which makes your lymph nodes inflamed.
You can get Mesenteric lymphadenitis from eating undercooked pork,
or drinking unpasteurized milk or contaminated water.
We're not really sure what I got mine from.
Well this is my second time having it.
And it's something I would never want anybody to go through.
It's the most painful thing I have ever had to endure.

The first time I got it was around two months ago.
I went to the emergency room on a Saturday.
We were there for like five hours I think, before we found out what was wrong.
That's where this pic about was taken.

Well I thought that I would be ok since, I was on meds and pain pills,
I thought that I would be ok to go back to school again on Monday.
But that was a BIG mistake!!
I ended up goin to my doctor the next day, because the pain pills
I took weren't even touching the pain.
They put an IV in me right away, so that could get a stronger pain med in me.
That's where this next pic was taken.
The next day the pain got worse again, so we called my docter
and he told my mom that I was able to have two pain meds.
And that helped out alot!
By the end of the week the pain was goin away, the meds were finally kicking in.
Then it went away for good, or so we thought.
But now it's back, but it's not as painful as of yet.
It's still really painful but not as bad as it was the first time.
But I pray that it goes away soon.
